MA Studio, or Muqaddas Akkari Studio, is an architecture and design practice based between London and Paris. The identity needed to reflect a clean, minimal aesthetic while also acknowledging the co-founders’ Middle Eastern heritage. A dual naming system was created to balance formality and familiarity — with ‘MA Studio’ used as a refined shorthand and the full name applied in more formal contexts. A flexible typographic approach allows the name to shift between formats. The overall visual language draws on editorial and archival references, combining calm typography and subtle detailing to convey a sense of quiet sophistication.

A small set of printed materials was created to support the studio’s visual identity across physical touchpoints. This included business cards and branded stationery, designed with minimal layouts, careful alignment, and consistent typography. The print system was intentionally understated, using fine lines and generous spacing to reflect the studio’s focus on precision and architectural clarity. Each piece was designed to feel quietly elevated and practical, aligning with the brand’s thoughtful, functional approach.

To support internal communications and client work, a suite of digital templates was developed, including InDesign presentation decks, proposals, and editable documents. Each template followed a flexible grid system, making it easy for the team to apply consistently while allowing for variation in content and layout. The result is a clear, adaptable design system that supports the studio’s workflow while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
